Self Built Campervan
In 2017 we bought a Mercedes Sprinter Box truck and with a very limited budget and a lot of imagination turned it into our tiny home on wheels.
We then travelled across Europe and Africa to test tiny living. The aim was to live lightly and simply to experiment how little we needed to be happy.
Using almost entirely recycled materials we manged to build a humble home.
We also got rid of most of our stuff and found the benefits of owning less and living more. The basics are often enough – we are conditioned to always want more.
The design of the van is inspired by eastern ways of life – using the floor as a multipurpose furniture piece.
We also wanted it to be as minimal as possible – far removed from your typical mobile home.
