Dolls House
With Space&Matter in collaboration with Joelle Wall and CRE8.
The doll house’s design is focused around a disabled child who is bed bound. The perception of this limitation is altered as the concept shows 5 stories/scenes/worlds constructed from 12 layers, which rotate around a stationary bed. The child is no longer constrained by his/her illness, but instead is taken on a journey through an endlesssly exciting world where adventures and experiences are limitless.
Kaegh Allen was responsible for the building of the object and the making of the film.
The object was make from MDF with an oak veneer. Lasercut scenes were back-lit with a gold-foil background.
